Aaron Carter III is a highly accomplished and SHRM Certified (CP) Human Resources professional with over thirteen years of experience in Recruitment, Recruitment Management, and Human Resources Administration across various industries. Based in Newport, KY, Aaron has built an extensive expertise in full cycle recruiting, negotiations, contract recruiting, training, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, and HRIS administration. He has successfully recruited for a wide range of positions, including government contracts (NSA, CIA, DOD, DOE, FAA, FBI), IT and Financial C-Suite Executives, entertainment, medical, transportation, education, manufacturing, and insurance.
Currently serving as the Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager/Team Lead at ACT1 Federal in Crystal City, VA since August 2021, Aaron effectively manages recruitment processes for TS/SCI cleared positions on U.S. Government contracts. He develops strategic recruitment strategies to reduce time-to-fill metrics and promote open positions, utilizing his strong networking skills to build relationships with candidates, management, and customers. Aaron also mentors junior recruiters and contributes to the development of HR/TA retention programs.
Prior to his current role, Aaron held positions such as Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager at LG-TEK, Inc., Talent Acquisition Manager at Knexus Research, and HR Business Partner at T-Rex Solutions, LLC. Throughout his career, he has consistently achieved outstanding results, reducing recruitment metrics, increasing employee retention, and providing top-notch customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Aaron holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from American Military University. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Cultural Studies with a minor in African American History from Northern Kentucky University. With his extensive experience and comprehensive skill set, Aaron Carter III continues to excel in the field of Human Resources and contribute to the success of organizations he serves.
